TECHNICAL TRAINING
On March 9 and 10, 2023, another series of technical trainings that we regularly prepare for our customers took place. Technicians of the MaC department and general maintenance of three plants of our long-term partner completed a two-day theoretical training "valves and controls in alcohol and sugar production technologies". At the end, there were practical demonstrations of repairs of basic types of ball valves, butterfly valves, pneumatic actuators and their accessories.

PEKOS BALL VALVES WITH HEATING JACKET

Some process media after operation in a closed valve can solidify, making valve operation difficult or even contaminating the process media during operation. One way to prevent such a problem is to maintain the temperature of the process medium by installing a heating jacket. The heating jacket is a device that maintains the temperature of the process medium in the valve body. It allows the passage of a hot medium, which is usually steam, hot oil or hot water.
