PEKOS VALVES - H2 SOLUTIONS

In the 21st century, hydrogen is becoming an increasingly attractive energy source due to its purity, versatility and high energy efficiency. Hydrogen is the cleanest fuel in terms of energy content, but it is highly explosive when mixed with air and therefore specific safety rules must be observed in hydrogen pipelines. The Spanish manufacturer Pekos offers valves with an advanced technical design of the packing (safety shaft extension) that guarantees tightness in accordance with the ISO15848-1 standard for fugitive emissions.

SAFETY VALVES ACCORDING TO ASME VYC 285/286

New safety valves according to ASME, type 285/286 from Spanish manufacturer VYC Industrial suitable for gaseous and liquid service media up to 25 bar pressure and up to 260°C temperature. The relief valve functions as an automatic pressure regulator activated by static pressure at the inlet to the valve. The valves are available in 3 EP/AP/ES designs and two material options in stainless steel or carbon steel.

PEKOS BALL VALVES WITH HEATING JACKET AND ACCESSORIES

In some special cases, especially with thickening or highly viscous media, it is necessary to continuously heat the valve bodies to the required temperature. Due to the permanently low viscosity, damage to the valve caused by solidifying service media can be prevented. Heating media can vary from steam to special silicone heat transfer media. The current project involves ball valves for the transport of coal pitch at a temperature of 270°C, with steam at 300°C and a pressure of 16barg as the heating medium.
