Rupture disks

Rupture disks or bursting discs are specially designed safety devices used to protect the device from excessive overpressure or vacuum. Rupture disks break at a predefined pressure and release the pressure or vacuum from the protected device. For highly aggressive and corrosive media, rapture disks can be delivered in design in which material of the disk resists even the most severe conditions.
